Why not put up a world map with the place where the story is set
circled, and the route traveled pointed out. You could also
include actual facts about the geographical location, maybe
pics from the internet, etc, and to make it interactive, you
could have a rotating batch of "trivia" type questions about
the story, author, or related subjects like "island survival",
etc that students could take and answer for bonus points,
homework credit, etc. Could be fun and interesting.
