I've been doing literature circles this year and adapting them for my various groups but the one thing that I'm struggling with across all of my classes is the vocabulary component. I constantly hear "I know all of these words" or "How are we supposed to know what words?" They've done okay with the other jobs, but the vocabulary still seems to be the most hated, and least completed, job.

Any ideas?
