Re: When do I go for my masters?

Now is a good time if you already have a teaching position.
Reason: by the time this cycle of educational unemployment turns
you will be poised to take advantage of your graduate degree. At
this time there are few promotional positions or teaching
positions periods. I recently completed a graduate program to
find that other than the personal satisfaction (hard work and
lots of money) it is useless. I am paid a few dollars a month
more for the masters and there was no reimbursement for the
classes. However, I love learning and the collaboration that I
never seem to find on a working campus. So there are many things
to think about. Good luck.
