Leoa it helps to visit as many other classrooms as you can. I
spend a lot of time observing other schools and become
friends with teachers. I don't have very many schools here
so i also search schools on the internet. If you are able to
go to the AMS conferece in Chicago this March it is a fun
weekend and a chance to meet other Montessori teachers. I
learn so much when I go. I hope to see you there.
It helps if your co-teachers are supportive. Ask lots of
questions. One thing I did was take one area of the
classroom and focus on that for a long time. Practical Life
is a good place to start. It helps get you comfortable with
giving lessons.
