Re: teaching grades 3 and 4 parent problems
    Posted by frustrated on 1/22/09

Hi, I need advice or moral support. I have limited time
with my kids, 45 min for math. it is a very small class
but... One mom thinks I am an idiot because I did a problem
incorrectly and was in bending the principal's ear. I already
set up testing for her kid to see if she should be placed up
a grade in math 2 days ago. she is like a dog with a
bone.!!! My district discourages a lot of homework (no busy
work) and the moms seem to want it. Principal is on my side
but it is very awkward. I don't want to appear to jump at
    thier demands either. any advice?
