I teach at the Intergenerational School, a public charter
school that is divided into three clusters. Primary (K-2),
Junior (3-5) and Senior (6-8). If you schedule your classroom
into workshops (reading, writing, and math)...you can create
learning opportunities for all the ability levels. (Let's face
it, some of your K's might be as academically adept as your 1's
or 2's, and vice versa). For writing and reading I highly
recommend the following workshop resource:
http://www.ttms.org/ I use these in Primary, Junior and Senior
clusters. The expectations may be different at each level but
the basic structure and process are the same.
If you want you can e-mail me for further help.
