Hi Laura,
Have you started with your K-3 class yet? How's it going?
I have a teacher aide block in the morning and have my Prep's
doing a play-based program with her each day. It's working really
well as it leaves the 1-4's with me and I use it as a literacy
block for them.
I'm using co-generative planning as I have some students for 4-5
years. This way I'm able to keep things fresh as the ideas are
coming from them.
All is going well here. My Year 1's are reading and writing, and
the other students are meeting the benchmarks we've set.
Love to hear from you.
Karen
