    Post: 5/6 split

    Kyle

    Posted on 8/31/09

    I will be teaching a fifth/sixth combo for the first time.
    I am seeking the gems from your experiences in three areas:
    1.) advice, guidelines, strategies, planning ideas, and
    seating arrangement that are effective for the two groups;
    2.) What Should be included in an initial teacher talk and
    routine activities that will foster an enduring positive
    "team"attitude/ atmosphere among all the students
    throughout the whole year; 3.) What, if any, have been the
    concerns of parents about split classes, and the most
    assuring information to share with parents? Thank you,
    Kyle.
