I'm an elementary school teacher, but I've spent my last
year teaching Pre-K in a child care center. We're just
starting an afterschool program and I'm lucky enough to be
in charge. We're starting from the ground up (all of my
toys, art supplies, and other classroom materials just came
in today!) and I'm trying to come up with some ways to
flesh out my classroom theme. The kids were mostly here for
Kindergarten last year and all loved the Magic Tree House
books, so the classroom is going to have a "Clubhouse" feel
to it. One of the bulletin boards has a tree with fall
leaves and will feature their favorite books ("Fall into a
good book"). The library is going to have a green canopy
and a ladybug chair. I'm not sure what else to do. I want
something catchy for the door and birthday board, as well
as a cute idea for locker tags. Any ideas?
