Re: Any one-room school teachers?

Adrienne, I will be teaching a 4th-6th classroom. I need any ideas you can give. I want to cover all the standards, but I can not ignore the others while I work with one grade. I was going to have a guided reading program and a writing workshop based on Lucy Caulkins. I am confused how to integrate science and s. studies. Should I use text books for each child? What are your suggestions? anything you have would be so helpful! Thank you! On 4/25/07, Adrienne wrote: > Phew! How do you do it? I thought a 1/2 combo was a > challenge.
