Re: Any one-room school teachers?
Posted by Barbara on 9/25/06

I am hoping to find a teaching position in a rural area, and
I'm particularly interested in Nebraska. I am curious to hear
the advantages and disadvantages of teaching in a multi-age
classroom setting, and I'd like some realistic input. I am
sure that the area of the country that I am interested in
would involve teaching in a one-room or two-room type of
school setting, and to me, this seems like it would be an
ideal fit for my personality and for my own teaching style.
I would be very grateful to hear from teachers who are
currently teaching this way, and I honestly want to hear the
good, the bad, and the ugly!
