Perhaps it is no big deal to shower in the common area, but I
certainly would not recommend it. One moment can forever taint
your career and you are just starting out. I say, take a towel
bath at the sink with your sweaty clothes on, go into a private
stall and change. I have been teaching 27 years and have
witnessed what one slightly biased comment can do to a teacher
more than once! Good luck.
