Andrea, I'm hoping others will come up w/some ideas to go
with you're neat idea. All I could come up with was starting
each class with an action/movement as they chant the catch
phrase. Action examples: (play hard)running in place hard
while teachers counts to 5,(play fair) students quickly
freeze and place hands above head like halo or could shake
hands w/ someone,(play safe)the umpire's safe signal for
baseball.
Additionally could concentrate on play safe the first week or
so of school and use it as a beginning and ending point of
each class as far as discussion and asking students what we
should do in this game/activity to "play safe".
Thanks,
Linda
