Hi Marcy. A great question. I received my Bachelor of Arts in
Elem. Ed. and my Bachelor of Science in HPER. I started as an
elementary classroom teacher. Years later I obtained my
Master's in HPER (health, phys. ed and rec). You may not be
highly qualified to teach PE if you don't have a specific
degree, but I would believe you could still teach in that
field. Double check and call/email your state office of
education and their licensing dept. could confirm your query
to be certain! Best of luck!!
