    I have been through a very similar situation at my school.
    Our enrollment is down to 40 students (PreK-8th). I
    encourage you to honestly look at your budget. Be sure that
    the amount you offer to cut from your salary will work for
    you for the entire year. If you find yourself needing those
    funds at a later date, it becomes difficult not to be
    resentful. I know that my school is needed within our
    community. I see the difference every day. I view my salary
    reduction as a tithe. If you believe in your school, it is
    easier to take the pay cut.
