I would call the central office of the parochial schools in
your area to see what the policy of the diosece is with regards
to nursing staff in schools. Also, get a clear determination
of liability - would the person be covered as any other staff
member in the school or is there a different kind of liability
insurance the individual should have? And if the school does
employ a nurse, do procedures change on how health related
issues are handled within the school building so that all staff
would be on the same page.
