My way of teaching reading is so much better than the confusion. I do not think the students are learning!!!I Hate trying to teach a reading circle while kids are crawling on the floor. I have 32 years of SUCCESS! When is someone going to put a stop to this madness? Worksheets can ask creative questions and students learn to sit and focus which they need in our society! We seldom even sit together at a table anymore to have our meals. On yearly tests they must be able to sit and focus for long periods of time not sit on the floor and play a confusing game. What are we doing to our students if we do not give them the opportunity to stretch their ability to sit quietly , think and focus and answer questions on paper? It is a process and will not be mastered unless they are given opportunities to succeed.

DoYourResearch Everyone who says Cooperative Learning is the only way to go, and that future employers are looking for Team Players, etc, please read the book called "Quiet".
