I refuse to do this stupid model. I give all groups equal time: because
they're all equal human beings. The "low" ones are low because their
parents are useless. Not my fault. I write what I have to in my plans/on
the paperwork, but it's not really what I do. Just close your door and
teach. If they come in, do the song and dance they want to see, but
otherwise who's going to know? I don't let it stress me. (I also have the
highest reading and math scores in my grade level, with some huge gains
for a few kids, so no need for nasty posts about how I'm not doing my
job!)
As for progress monitoring, we only do that once a quarter so no biggie.
Otherwise, I'd lie on that paperwork too! Again, who's going to know? Why
drive yourself crazy? I've become quite the BSer since teaching in a RF
school!
