I honorably finished 2 contracts in Korea teaching Girls
middle school there. After teaching my 2nd year I decided
to take a break and move to the Philippines. I did not
return to America nor did I leave the Philippines in this
time period. My new EPIK application states that I need a
Criminal Background check from the USA. The USA states that
I did not live in the USA so a background check can not be
issued. The recruiter says that I can not be considered on
Job unless a background check is performed in the USA. The
recruiter also states that a background check from
Philippines is unacceptable. The American Embassy does not
offer this service either. Any chances of a waiver?
