The Academy of Math and Science South, sister school of the Academy of Math and Science, an award-winning, "Excelling", and "A" rated K-12 charter school in Tucson, is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable middle school social studies teacher to teach full time in the 2012-2013 school year. We are interested in candidates who are passionate about studying the lessons we have to learn from history and molding students' minds into instruments capable of creating persuasive arguments and analyzing complex bodies of text.

Skills / Requirements

Bachelor's degree in fields related to Social Studies/History required. We are only interested in content experts! Candidates must be enthusiastic and have excellent classroom management skills or a desire to become an excellent teacher and the willingness to be mentored by Master Teachers.
