We are looking for a contract Business Analyst to join our Product Management team and support our dynamic and growing customer base. This position will be responsible for identifying, analyzing and documenting requirements, use cases/scenarios, detailed design specifications, and user guides; collaborating with team members to provide insights to designs and solutions; and identifying and resolving issues with designs or quality assurance. The Business Analyst must be self-motivated and willing to learn new technologies. Good written and oral communication skills will be crucial to success in this role. Responsibilities -Become a subject matter expert and create high value insights that influence design and solution decisions. -Collaborate with various teams to gather and document requirements, user stories, use cases, and design specifications. -Work closely with product management to identify issues -Create wireframes or mockups. -Identify and recommend process and design improvements.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications -BS in Computer Science, Business Administration, or Management or equivalent experience. -Experience working on software development projects with a strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle. -Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into requirements, use cases, and design specifications. -Experience creating wireframes and mockups using HTML, Balsamiq or other wireframing tools. -Self-motivated and the ability to work under pressure. -Minimum of 4 years hands-on business analysis or product management experience. -Exemplary written and verbal communication skills. -Exemplary analytical and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and properly prioritize workload across projects.

Desired Skills and Qualifications: -Familiarity with higher education sector (highly desirable). -Familiarity with dashboards or reporting products (highly desirable). -Web design and development skills using CSS and JavaScript. -Familiarity with data warehousing and database structures.
