This excellent column from Washington Post columnist
Courtland Milloy mentions a PBS documentary, “Slavery by
Another Name,” that will air next Monday. If you are
teaching high school social studies it could be a great
teaching tool. I personally was not familiar with details
of how slavery-like conditions persisted well into the 20th
century. A real eye opener.
