Here are some educational sites I take my students on: 1. www.starfall.com (I use this with my Kinder and First grade classes even the ESL and ELL students. This site teaches the alphabet, phonics and early reading. 2. www.rainforestmaths.com ( A great interactive math website for K-6th) 3. www.maps101.com (Subscription based) A great place for maps. 4. www.scholastic.com (Click on the Teachers tab and then the online activities. The site is separated by grade level. For teachers: I highly recommend attending the annual National Educational Computer Conference (NECC). This year has already passed. You can find more information at www.iste.org Also, check out Discovery Educator Network (www.discoveryeducatornetwork.com) This site has loads of fascinating information on integrating technology into your curriculum. If you are interested in grants, check out www.grantwrangler.com Lots of grants available.
