Re: What's your views on software in preschool classrooms?

I am a computer teacher so I do value computers but I do have concerns about their value in a PreK setting.
I would set the computer station up so that you always have at least two students there at a time. Then at least they have to cooperate when they are on the computer.
Kid Pix is good for a wide range of ages and you can create your own activities for Kid Pix that would go along with your curriculum.
Do you have the students for a half-day or a full-day? If you only have them for a half-day, then I would try to use the computer only as a group.
