Had posted a similar message in the math teacher section, but if I could just highlight it here - if it might interests you teachers.
We have here a Zap Zap Fractions app, available for free on iPad, and soon on iPhones.
What it does is that it starts off with a lesson on understanding the basics of fraction. Quite like a walk- through. Upon completion, it takes a user on an adventure of application based on what's been learned from the lesson portion.
