I am relatively new to Words Their Way. This is conference
week and I am looking for some way to let parents know what
levels might be considered "second grade" so they can see
where their children are. I know all children are working
at their own levels and that is explained to parents, but
if their child is getting 100s on their tests (which the
book says they should be) parents sometimes get the
impression they are doing grade level work, when they may
actually may be doing words on a much simpler level. How do
you handle this?
Thanks!
