Talk to your University advisor that is responsible for your
Spanish education courses; he or she can help greatly. While
I did my student teaching, my master teacher that year bit
off more that she could chew: She was department chair, head
of the WASC committee, and took the duty of master teacher
with all that on her plate. She would regularly leave me
alone and would never give me any kind of feedback. There is
no need to belabor the point, but safe to say that I
absolutely abhorred the experience. What I can tell you is
this: finish your credential program, do well on those TPA's,
and establish a good rapport with your professors, they will
get you the letters of recommendation you will need in the
future when looking for a job. And as for the Spanish, don't
worry about it. You are most like looking to teach HS
spanish right? How many people do you know remember any of
the foreign languages they took while in high school; foreign
language is just a stupid requirement that we take in order
to get into college. Creme cuando te digo que el aprender
Espaņol en este pais no es de primera necesidad, hoy en dia es
preferible que los estudiantes aprendan matematicas y
ciencias
