Learn, Travel, Earn CEUs, meet people of diverse
professions from all over the world. For this mailring:

Our workshops offer CEUs and up to 3 graduate credits
through the University of Iowa and the University of
Arizona. Many educators taking our workshops have received

The Creativity Workshop (founded in 1993) is dedicated to
helping educators from all disciplines develop and nurture
creativity in all fields. Workshops are held in inspiring
locations all over the world. Creativity Workshop lectures
and exercises include guided visualization technique,
automatic drawing and writing, map making, memoir writing,
and storytelling. The Workshop is a professional
development opportunity that includes learning, travel,
available credits, and association with peers from all over
the world.
The exercises and lectures by the instructors are aimed at
helping teachers (and through them, their students):
+ Stimulate and deepen observational and perceptive
abilities + Find inspiration at our fingertips in the
everyday world + Get over writers block (be it essay
writing, research, or creative writing) + Get over the fear
of failure when exploring self expression and new ideas +
Learn to do creative work and brainstorm collaboratively to
foster deep thinking, team work, and mutual respect +
Engage and focus innate curiosity to meet pedagogical needs
+ Understand and use metaphorical thinking to establish
links between diverse areas of knowledge + Recognize and
nurture creative instincts + Develop a daily practice of
creativity exercises to accomplish these goals on a regular
basis
