I currently teach computer skills to students at two different junior highs. My position might morph into being a tech resource position that serves K-12 and five different schools in the district.

Are most tech resource positions smaller in scope than this one? Is it difficult to serve so many areas and be competent with so many different technology tools?

I'm also concerned about standardization of lessons being taught and how to hold teachers accountable to use the resources and teach the skills necessary at a given grade level.

Too clarify, the potential position is not tech coordinator. It's more geared toward how to use tech tools to enhance learning.

I appreciate any thoughts and advice on this subject.
