Word of mouth has actually been my best method. It takes some
time, but it has been very effective. Passing the word either
through just telling friends/colleagues of your desire to tutor,
and then tutoring someone and the parent telling other parents.
In addition, there is a public elementary school and two private
schools as well as many folks who homeschool in my small rural
community; in addition, I have a good relationship with the
public library staff. I have made myself known to a variety of
different professionals.
