Thanks for the info! I responded to one of those ads and
thought the response was weird. I googled a quoted section
of their page and found out it was a scam.

Mine was from a man claiming to be Steve Carrick, whose
daughter was in Greece with her mother. It's posted below.

Dear Applicant,
Thanks for the reply. The position is still available and
thanks for wanting to take my daughter the tutor. Its really
amazing and she is very happy about it. I have made contacts
with my daughter concerning the arrangement of the tutoring
which she told me is ok by her and I want you to know that i
am going to pay for 1 month, which should be $30/hr as stated
in the posting and also am planning that you will be teaching
her 3 times a week,for 2hrs per day,so you will be earning a
total sum of $720 per month. In order for you to know we are
very serious about this we will sending you a upfront payment
for the first month via a bank official check issued by my
financier and will be mail to you via UPS next day delivery.
I will also like you to know that my daughter is presently
with her mother in Grecce and she will be coming over to the
state towards the end of June, i will be depending on you
about the tutor. i look forward to hearing from you soon.
