I live in New York and work as a private tutor in my own
classroom after school. (I don't charge to tutor the kids
in my own class, though I do have regular after-school help
sessions.)

Parents do hire me to tutor their child and I do charge
ifthe child is in another grade or another classroom. I
usually get $25 an hour. I typically tutor a child one or
two days a week for an hour before or after school.
