Re: How much do you get paid for tutoring
Posted by Laura Rice on 6/24/08
I think it depends on your experience and your location. I run an
independent learning center in Mt. Kisco, NY (Learning Resource
Center, Inc.) that charges $120/session. I have 19 years of
teaching experience and I am a reading specialist with training in
many different programs. I don't want to offend the teachers who
are doing good deeds and working for public programs but you get
what you pay for. My guess is that those teachers doing good
deeds wish they could do more but are limited by many issues.
Take care,
Laura
