Web users don't think about the website authors

    We want information, and then we're gone. If the site's too
    slow or busy, or wastes our time with a lot of cheesy popups,
    we're gone even faster. Nobody really cares who made the site.Sounds like there's a web designer out there who's just a
    little too full of himself.
