Does your school's website (webhost) allow PHP scripting?
Using PHP would simplify your pages and maintenance. You
would not need to create a new HTML page each time. The pages
would be generated dynamically using PHP.
Find out about using PHP and then we can deal with that later.
About the slideshow ... You can use LightBox to bring the
thumbs into fullsize, and once in fullsize, the LightBox does
the "PREV" and "NEXT" to advance photos.
