
Google's intent is good. Analytics is a good way to monitor
site statistics. It's just that any Javascripting that grabs
user's IP addresses, browser info,location , etc. are deemed a
way to send user information to someone else. This will
trigger some warnings.
Firefox's wording "potential spyware site", is just a bit
too harsh for what it's worth.
You may want to check with your webhost on the type of
statistics they are keeping for you. What they provide may
be just as detailed and informative as Analytics.
