I'd go with OpenOffice which is available for FREE at
openoffice.org it's similar to Microsoft Suite (Word,
PowerPoint, etc.) reads those files too and saves them too in
those formats for availability to be opened by any MS Suite
application but what OpenOffice does which I like is the
ability to export to pdf (which such ease) then you can upload
that document/those documents directly onto your school's
webserver or to your website's host server or into any text of
an article of any web page for access by whomever.
