It is similar to Promethean or SMART in that it's interactive.
BUT, it is VERY different in that it's NOT an actual board.
It's a device about 4 or 5 inches wide and roughly a couple of
feet long that suctions to your existing white board. It
projects the image onto your board and you use a "pen" that
they provide to interact with the image. So it kinda makes
your whiteboard interactive. BUT only when you are using the
LED Pen.

I have a SMART board but others in my school have Mimeos. If
a SMART or Promethean are not an option, Mimeo is a cheaper
alternative to use while you are without the other.

OH - mimeo has their own interactive software, but it is sadly
lacking when compared to SMART notebook.
