    Re: Smartboards in Computer class
    Posted by: CTJS on 8/05/09

I have remote computer operating software in my computer
classroom as well and I love using the SMART Board and NetOP
    together.

I have used a Wheel of Fortune type game to have the students
guess the next topic that we are studying.

I will create a Notebook with a graphic on the topic for the
day and have it display on the student monitors as they enter
    the room.

For Kindergarten, I would occasionally create a Notebook file
that had links to online activities and embed the links in
    the Notebook file.

The SMARTBoard has great sound for showing videos. I link to
short videos in my lessons that I can show my class. For
example, there are great videos on Internet Safety at the
    NetSmartz website.
