Since the board (at least mine) is only on when my computer
and LCD projector is on (which it is connected to), I guess
you're really asking if you should turn off your projector?
Since projector lights are expensive to replace (and why just
waste energy by letting it run), I do turn off my projector
when I leave the room or am done with it for a class period (I
teach high school). I leave my computer on, but turn the
projector off.
