Re: teaching PreK kids to draw
Posted by Blue on 5/30/08

Why do you think you have to "teach" 4 year olds to draw?
All you should be doing is making a variety of materials
available to them and let them experiment. You can teach
them that they should try to keep their work on the paper or
what ever material they are using and they should try not to
eat the materials. They need time to figure things out for
themselves. Four year olds don't need to think that there is
a right way or wrong way to draw. They just need time and
materials to draw their own way.
