I am not an Art teacher but thought I could suggest this site
to you. It is a place that you can build your own book
lists. Just create a page and then build your own resource
lists. Put in Why is Blue Dog Blue and add to your list.
Then when other teachers type in Blue Dog they will see what
is on your list. This site is free.
