    Hi, I also teach 5th. My centers consist of 4 groups at 15
    minute rotations. One center stays the same which is guided
    reading, the other 3 rotate around the selcection story of the
    week and science and social studies. I always do a cut and paste
    sequencing or cause and effect for the story selection. I have
    one day of word study center. For science and social studies I
    use pictures run off to have students cut out and glue into
    interactive notebooks and then they have to write a
    description/definition for each picture. Pleas email me at
