I include copies of grade level appropriate books along with the assignment for each book. Most of the assignments are geared toward comprehension with a writing project included. So far I have literacy baskets for Freak the Mighty, Tangerine, Stargirl, Speak, Lord of the Flies, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Hatchet, and Wringer. If you'd like to see any of them, let me know.
