Posted by Terry on 4/12/08 As of March 2008, I've found that in the US Ronald McDonald House Charity still collects them and you can find a location near you from this web page http://www.rmhc.org/giving/ways-to-help If you are in Canada, I've found this annual event in Milton, Ontario http://www.miltonhog.com/Robertsrun_2.htm And here is a radio station that found Shriners still collects them in Winnipeg, Manitoba http://www.qx104fm.com/node/412376 Is this enough to show it is not a hoax or myth?
