	Re: earth day for toddlers. They're not ready for that Posted by Arlinda Felix on 4/18/08 I agree toddlers are NOT to young. We have been explaining earth day to our daugher all month. We made a pair of binoculars(she painted two empty tp roll) I glued them together and added an old shoe lace for the strap. We also decorated a small white tote from Michaels ($1.50) with painted fruit slices. So now she is really ready for her nature walk. And on the way home we will pick up some rocks to paint later for her daddy and grandparents. We also recycle so I let her help with the sorting and gave her her own small pile to take to the bin outside. I think you just need to get them excited about it and have fun learning.
