I have a behavior contract for my trips, but it goes beyond what
others have said here:
Before they send the first payment.... contract signed by student AND
parents.
Drop below C average at end of semesters- kicked off trip.
Fail a class- kicked off trip.
Tardy to classes three times- kicked off trip.
Written up for disrespectful, non-compliant, or insubordinate
behavior- kicked off trip.
Any suspensions, in or out of school- kicked off trip.

On tour, any behavior beyond acceptable "guest" behavior- sent home.

During the trip, if anything happens, the student knows that he or
she will be stuck to me for 24 hours- it only takes the first one,
and then everyone else falls into line. Honestly, I've never had
trouble while traveling with my students (although other students
have been an issue).
