Papa Gio, what company do you work for. I just did a quick
search and you seem to always pushing EF and Explorica. I'm
curious where do you teach?
In regards to Alison question, in my opinion haven’t traveled
with most of these companies at least once its well worth it to
go with ACIS or NETC. Explorica, EF and even Passports you have
a 50/50 chance of having a decent trip and if you have a bad
one it can really affect you personally and professionally. You
pay for what you get.
ACIS and NETC have both treated me very well and have always
been honest with me about the good things and the bad things. I
did have a bad flight with NETC last year, but I have to say
they were great about it. As you probably know something always
happens on your trips and I knowing I’m with a company I can
trust and they will do what I need when something does goes
wrong is a big plus for me. I used to like ACIS a little more
then NETC, but the last 2 trips with NETC have been amazing.
They really do seem to care about education and making sure the
students get the most out of the trip. Overall you can go wrong
with either company.
I’m convinced that the teachers who travel with EF and
Explorica do it because they personally benefit. If they cared
about the student’s safety and well being there is no way they
would countinue to travel with these companies. I live in a
lower blue collar area outside of south Philly and my parents
and students don’t mind paying the difference. They may just
trust my decision, but I’m not sacrificing my reputation and
students safety for a couple hundred dollars less.
