Re: Dollar General Store Back to School Grant![]()
Posted by DollarGeneral Victim on 10/19/07
I didn't know that Dollar General offerd a Grant Program. I am
quite surprised by this as they really should concentrate on
taking care of their patrons that are injured in the stores. I
am refferring to an incident witnessed last year in a DG store
in which 2 people slipped in vomit within 20 minutes, and the
store did nothing to assist or clean the vomit up. Despite being
told about the danger of further injuries, te staff never once
made any effort to clean tghe mess up. It was then that I
noticed how crowded the aisles were, how dangerously close
certain chemicals were displayed, etc. I would think anyone
requesting a Grant from this company would do well to have
patience. If their response to those injuries is any indication,
I rather doubt that they would be in any hurry to part with
their precious pennies.
