I have to agree with Don Davis. Lately there has been a lot
more new information as far as New York and the daycare grant
programs that they have.
But I am going to have to go back to my old habits and tell you
that besides you posting that you want to open a daycare, you
haven't said what kind of daycare. Is it going to be a for-
profit, a non-profit or a combination of both? Is this daycare
going to be located inside or outside of your home?
There are a lot of daycare-related grant programs out there but
they are not "one size fits all" kind of grant programs. The
kind of grant programs that you can apply for will depend on
the kind of daycare it is that you want to open.
I should also emphasize that besides looking in New York for
grant programs you should also be looking outside of New York -
meaning those grant programs that operate on a national level.
